Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal information handled when a visitor accesses WeekendStockMarket.com, including ordinary technical information created by the web server, hosting layer, security controls, and browser request. “Personal information” means information that identifies a person or can reasonably be linked to one, although the legal definition varies by jurisdiction.

It does not govern Hyperliquid, Nasdaq, NYSE, news sources, or any other site reached through an external link. Those organizations decide how they handle information on their own services.

Information created when a page is requested

Like most web services, the server or infrastructure may process an IP address, requested URL, request time, referring origin, browser and device information, response status, timing, and error or security events. An IP address can be personal information in some places.

The present application does not build a visitor profile from these records. Technical data is used to return the requested page, diagnose failures, protect the service, enforce reasonable request limits, and understand whether the site is functioning.

Information a visitor provides

The site has no account registration, comment field, newsletter form, wallet connection, trade ticket, payment form, or public contact form. It therefore does not ask for a name, phone number, postal address, government identifier, financial-account number, wallet address, identity document, or trading history.

If a visitor emails contact@weekendstockmarket.com with a correction, privacy, rights, security, or general inquiry, the message and reply details may be used to investigate and respond. Visitors should never send passwords, two-factor codes, private keys, seed phrases, or unnecessary identity documents.

Market-data requests are server-side

The page does not ask a visitor’s browser to fetch the displayed quote from Hyperliquid. A server-side service requests a reviewed list of venue instruments, validates the responses, and returns only the normalized fields used by the page.

Server-side storage and short-lived caching can reduce repeated upstream requests and keep venue endpoints out of the browser. They do not prevent a destination venue from receiving ordinary request information when a visitor chooses to follow an external link.

Cookies and browser storage

The current application does not set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, affiliate-tracking cookies, or a persistent browser identifier. It does not use local storage to create a visitor profile.

A hosting, security, or access-control provider may use a strictly necessary cookie to deliver or protect the service. Non-essential analytics, advertising, personalization, or conversion tracking will not be introduced silently. This policy and, where required, consent controls will be updated before those technologies are enabled.

Why technical information may be used

Technical request information may be used to deliver pages, balance traffic, prevent abuse, investigate errors, maintain security, measure basic reliability, comply with a valid legal obligation, and establish or defend legal claims.

If analytics are added later, the provider, events, purpose, retention, and opt-out or consent behavior will be documented first. Market-interest analysis should use the least identifying data reasonably available.

Service providers and other disclosures

Hosting, content-delivery, security, logging, and error-monitoring providers may process technical request information to deliver and protect the service. They act under their own infrastructure, contracts, and privacy notices, and should receive only the information reasonably needed for their role.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the service, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a business reorganization. We do not disclose more than the situation reasonably requires.

Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

Weekend Stock Market does not sell personal information, run targeted advertising, or share visitor profiles with data brokers. A third-party venue may separately recognize a referral code after a visitor chooses to follow a clearly labeled affiliate link.

Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to include certain advertising or cross-site tracking arrangements. If the business model later adds technology that falls within those definitions, this policy and the required opt-out mechanism must be updated before it goes live.

Retention

The application currently has no user-profile database and does not maintain an application-level history of named visitors. Development, hosting, security, and error logs may exist separately and may have different retention controls.

Technical logs and correspondence should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, security, investigation, recordkeeping, or a legal requirement. When practical, information is deleted, aggregated, or de-identified after that purpose ends.

International processing

Weekend Stock Market and its service providers may process technical requests in countries other than the visitor’s own. Privacy protections and legal requirements can differ between those countries.

Where applicable law requires a particular transfer safeguard, contractual term, representative, or regulator notice, the site and its providers are expected to apply the relevant mechanism rather than treating this policy as a substitute for it.

Security

We limit the data exposed to the browser, keep venue collection on the server, withhold secrets from client code, validate stored market data, and use access controls where appropriate. Technical and organizational safeguards evolve with the service.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Security concerns can be reported to contact@weekendstockmarket.com without sending credentials, private keys, seed phrases, or unnecessary personal information.

Privacy rights and choices

Depending on where a visitor lives and which laws apply, the visitor may have rights to ask about personal information, receive a copy, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. Some rights have exceptions, and identity may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled.

Browser settings can limit cookies and referrer information. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to contact@weekendstockmarket.com. We may ask for reasonable information to understand the request, verify identity or authority where necessary, and apply any legal exceptions.

Children

The site is written for a general adult audience interested in financial markets and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly ask children for personal information. If a future feature is likely to collect information from a child, that feature requires a separate privacy and age review before release.

Changes to this policy

The review date at the top changes when this policy is materially revised. We describe significant changes clearly and provide advance notice when applicable law requires it.

Adding analytics, advertising, affiliate measurement, accounts, alerts, newsletters, comments, or wallet features would change the information handled. This policy will be reviewed and updated before any such feature is enabled.

Privacy contact

Email privacy questions or requests to contact@weekendstockmarket.com. Include the request type, the country or state whose law may apply, and enough detail to identify the relevant interaction with the site.

We may need reasonable information to verify identity or authority before acting, but we will not ask for passwords, two-factor codes, private keys, seed phrases, or unnecessary financial records.
