Sandisk used its August 13 Investor Day to describe a longer-term financial framework, customer agreements intended to improve revenue visibility, and momentum behind High Bandwidth Flash for AI inference workloads.
Sandisk reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $8.97 billion, up 51% sequentially, and said higher pricing contributed about twice as much as volume to the sequential increase.
Sandisk and SK hynix released a High Bandwidth Flash technical specification through the Open Compute Project, an early step toward an ecosystem for flash memory in AI inference systems.
